Reception and social integration service for newcomers.

SCRI is positioned at the forefront of immigrant aid organizations.

Through personalized appointments and telephone calls, we seek not only to optimize the quality of our service to newcomers but also the accessibility to quick and useful answers without ever losing sight of what is at the center of our motivation: the human.

Because social integration also involves leisure.

“Leisure, in its broadest sense, is indeed a vector of integration, but also a factor of identity affirmation, and this, as much for the majority as for the minority groups. Extracted from the bulletin of the Observatoire québécois du loisirs number 13, entitled Leisure and integration of newcomers: state of scientific knowledge, this sentence very appropriately supports the vision of the SCRI according to which successful integration cannot be based solely on the access to a job or housing (even if, of course, these two poles are vital!): the process of adaptation must go through the private sphere and the activities that are part of it. Discover your new environment, understand it, appropriate it, get in touch with the host society in a fun and reassuring way, meet other immigrants from all over the world, laugh, talk, eat as many safeguards set up through outings and activities against isolation, discouragement and sometimes even depression.

Because we know that the psychological aspect of integration is a key factor, we take care to set up a program of varied activities that convey human warmth.
